KREMporEx is supplied in a defined thickness and only achieves its full effect during the manufacturing process. During impregnation or upon thermal activation, the material expands in a targeted and controlled manner – precisely where stability and gap-filling are required. Depending on the variant, exceptional expansion rates are achieved:
- ≥ 750% expansion at 0.33 mm (measured up to 1440%)
- ≥ 500% expansion at 0.50–3.0 mm (measured up to 910%)
This enormous increase in volume enables reliable, uniform filling of even complex geometries.
