VIDAFLEX Fire-Sleeve

High-temperature protection for cables, hoses and pipes

VIDAFLEX Fire-sleeve BG is a flexible high temperature resistant insulating sleeving produced from a continuous “E”-glass braid which is coated with a high-performance silicone elastomer. It is used in numerous demanding industrial applications offering reliable protection for cables, hoses and pipes against heat, flying sparks and metal splashes.

Innovative E-glass fibre reinforcement

A cut-open red cable reveals several copper conductors with insulation layers of different colors.

A specially developed, closed glass fibre mesh made of high-quality E-glass forms the high-performance base reinforcement of this material. It enables particularly easy, quick and virtually resistance-free insertion of cables and other components, thus ensuring efficient, user-friendly processing even under demanding conditions.

This technological and innovative advancement underscores Krempel's high standards of quality, functionality and future-proofing. With this solution, Krempel is setting new standards in the processing and application of high-performance technical textiles and offering customers clear added value in terms of performance, reliability and ease of processing.

Maximum safety in extreme heat

A firefighter is putting out a fire that is burning in the background.

VIDAFLEX Fire-sleeve BG ensures lasting protection at operating temperatures above 200 °C and can withstand temperatures of over 1000 °C for short periods (e.g. when exposed to molten metal or flames).

High flexibility and chemical resistance make it ideal for demanding industrial, energy and railway applications.
