Military and civilian vehicles operate under extreme conditions and require reliable protection against ballistic threats, fragments and other impacts. At Krempel, we develop and manufacture advanced ballistic materials and components that combine high protective performance, a lightweight design and durability. These are customised to meet the specific requirements of land-based applications. Our portfolio ranges from prepregs, sheets and blanks to complex 3D-moulded parts and hybrid composite solutions that combine e.g. steel and composites where necessary. Our material solutions include E-glass, S-glass, aramid and customised multilayer laminates.
