YOUR TASKS
- Prototype Development: Design and develop prototypes and components for defense applications.
- Test Management: Conduct tests, simulations, and qualification activities, including full documentation.
- Specifications: Support the development of technical specifications and requirement documents.
- Production Introduction: Implement, refine, and document products and prepare them for series production.
- Technology Analysis: Evaluate new technologies, trends, and materials for defense applications.
- Intellectual Property: Support patent applications and intellectual property protection (if required).
- Customer Support: Provide technical consulting and customer support in coordination with project management.
YOUR PROFILE
- Qualifications: A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Experience: Experience in the development and design of technical products, ideally involving materials/components in the defense sector (e.g., high-performance materials, protection systems, or electronics integration).
- Knowledge: Proficiency in CAD systems such as CATIA V5 or comparable development environments, as well as knowledge of standards, approvals, and certification processes in defense engineering.
- Language Skills: negotiation-level proficiency in German and English.
