Increased footprint in North and South America and strengthened product range in the field of electrical insulation

Krempel has acquired all shares of Mexican EIC Insulation Company (EIC) as part of a share deal, with effect from September 4, 2024.  The acquisition includes both the business of commercializing electrical insulation materials (EIC Insulation Company) and the further processing of these materials into customer-specific components and kits (ECC Conversion Center).

EIC boasts modern production facilities, ample storage capacity, and a development and sales center within the Monterrey metropolitan area, Mexico. Due to its geographic proximity to the United States, the site will serve as a central production and logistics hub for the important markets in North and South America.

The primary goal is to ensure that global customers in the energy sector receive the full product lineup at their production sites even more rapidly and efficiently.”

Krempel and EIC have enjoyed a successful partnership for more than 20 years in the field of electrical insulation for generators, transformers, and motors. A strong entrepreneurial mindset exists in both companies.
