Our customers in this sales segment are manufacturers of generators for power plants and wind turbines, transformers and electric motors. In these markets, Krempel is a leading global supplier of electrical insulation systems and composites. Together with an international team of key account managers, you will develop new market opportunities and expand our excellent customer relationships. You will report to the Head of Global Sales Energy.

This position can also be carried out remotely.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating new sales for a defined group of existing customers in the Energy sales segment, as well as new customer acquisition
  • Independent planning and implementation of sales and marketing activities, including contract review
  • Responsibility for settng prices and maximizing earnings, in coordination with Competence Centers (business units) and the line managers
  • Collection of customer and market information, including competitors, to expand the strategic business fields
  • Systematic development of key accounts by leveraging existing relationships to gain market share and increase sales
  • Presentation of the company and products to customers, as well as at trade fairs and other events
  • Annual sales planning at customer and product level
  • Responsibility for the regular comparison of the established sales forecast and order intake to actual results

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts. Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Several years of professional experience in international sales (B2B)
  • Strong understanding of technical products
  • Ability to negotiate prices and terms
  • Must be customer focused
  • Good communication skills, oral and written
  • Highly self motivated, ability to work independently and with a team, effcient with strong organizational skills
  • Travel activity at least 60%
